Dear Limousin Friends,

Welcome to our first bull sale. This year marks our 21st year of raising Lim-

ousin cattle. The excitement of hosting our first bull sale has been as ex-

hilarating as when we sold our first black Limousin in South Africa or selling

the first black Limousins in the United Kingdom, a country where Limousin

bulls out number all others. We have also been fortunate enough

to top many major sales. But, what we truly enjoy the most is

showing our bulls and cows to good cattlemen and visiting over

a cup of coffee.

Well – the time has come to host our own bull sale and bring

good friends together in one place; that place being the Bensen’s

awesome sale facility at Sandero Ranch. We feel we are offering

a set of bulls that will work well in today’s cattle industry. All the

bulls will be semen tested and weights will be posted sale day.

You are invited to view the bulls on the farm prior to the sale; all

bulls will have our breeder guarantee.

BULL BREEDING GUARANTEEAll guarantees are between the buyer and the seller.

All bulls offered and sold, except calves at side, areguaranteed breeders irrespective of age. All bullsafter reaching the age of 15 months must be capableof settling 7 head or 75% of the eligible normalhealthy breeding age females he is running with fora 90 day period, whichever is the lesser.

No guarantee regarding the freezing ability of a bull’ssemen is made or implied in the sale of a bull unlesscovered specifically in a written contract.

In the case of a complaint regarding a bull’s breedingguarantee the buyer wishes to enforce the provisionsof the Code shall report the same in writing to theseller enclosing a report prepared by a licensed vet-erinarian within 6 months of purchase or the time thebull reaches the age of 15 months whichever occurslater. The bull shall be returned to the seller at thebuyer’s expense. The seller may replace the bullwith a bull of equal quality or refund the purchaser’sprice of the bull or he may attempt to prove the bulla breeder under the terms of this clause within 6months. If the bull is proven to be a breeder withinthe 6 months provided he shall be returned by theseller to the buyer and the buyer’s expense. If he isnot proven to be a breeder then replacement or atthe option of a seller a refund is mandatory. Underno circumstances will a seller be liable for more thanthe purchase price of the animal sold.

Harvey and Donna have, and continue to use, some of the best sires in the Limousin breed.When they find a herd sire that will compliment their program and the genetics that will be ben-eficial to their customers they are not shy about adding him into the herd. They believe in rais-ing cattle that have performance, calving ease, docility and strong maternal traits. The herdsires that are in their herd will definitely offer these essential traits.
