The Garden Song

Once there was a garden Where nothing grew

It needed saving So what did we do?

We took some soil With lots of wiggly worms

Some seeds Flowers bushes and trees And then we dug a pond

Now butterflies Flutter by on the breeze

And birds Eat the berries and seeds And frogs swim in our pond

Our garden is a special place A truly magic wild life space

So we can care For our garden each day

Sing songs With our friends as we play

And watch what’s in the pond


Grasshoppers

I’m a grasshopper I leap around A grasshopper

Bouncing up and down And I land with ease

Cos I always bend my knees

Something’s crawling in the flowers What could it be?

I hope it’s not a scary monster Out to frighten me

Something’s moving in the tree stump What could it be?

Busy Bees live together They stay friends forever

Their home is a world of harmony Being there for each other They care for one another

Flying free as can be Like the wind that blows Flying free you can see Birds just come and go Free to fly everywhere


The Log Pile

A messy tangled log pile’s the perfect place to hide. For me and all my creepy friends that live there safe inside

We’ll wriggle, squiggle, creep and crawl and eat all we can chew And when somebody passes by we’ll all jump out and shout.

BOO!
