Kanha National park is located in Banjar and Halon valleys in the Mandla / Balaghat districts of the state of Madhya Pradesh.Kanha area was divided into two sanctuaries, Hallon and Banjar, of 250 and 300 km. It was created on 1 June, 1955.

Today it stretches over an area of 940 km in the two districts Mandla and Balaghat. Flora: Kanha National Park is home to over 200 species of flowering plants.Climate: The climate of this region is tropical. Summers are hot and dry with a maximum and minimum temperature of 42C and 24C.Winters are cold with an average maximum and minimum temperature of 24C and 1C, respectively. A total of 488 different species of plants have been recorded in the park.

Over 585 species of resident and migratory birds have been categorized, including the crested serpent eagle, blossom-headed parakeet and the red jungle fowl, 33 species of reptiles, seven species of amphibians, seven species of fish and 37 species of dragonflies have also been recorded.

Ranthambore Is National park and tiger reserve located in the Rajasthan state in western India.

Ranthambore was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1955 and became part of Project Tiger in 1973, is famous for its tiger sightseeing.
