Viewpoints on Global Warming

Developing Countries (LEDCs)

• They want per Capita to be the spec for Emission cut down as this is much larger in MEDCs

• They are exempt from the Kyoto Protocol

• They are a lot less aware of Global Warming

• The majority believe that Global Warming is not a cause of Human Activity with the exception of Latin America.

Developed Countries (MEDCs)

• They want to be based on Total Emissions

• All MEDCs apart from the US are in the Kyoto Protocol

• Most people are aware of Global Warming

• Opinions on Global Warming as an affect of human activity is divided among the public

MEDCs and LEDCs have different augments on who should be responsible for cutting down Emissions. Also the public of different countries have different views on causes for Global Warming and some are not even aware of it.

Conclusion

I feel that Global Warming is happening and that it is a naturally occurring process but I believe that human contribution has led to an acceleration of this process.
