Why I used the pictures on my prelim.

Front cover I used this picture on my front cover because it shows other people that don’t go to the school what a good school it is. It shows this because of how many people are in the photo with san award. It gives the school a good reputation and shows people the school are aiming for the highest. I think that this is a good choice of a picture. I think that it might also show people that the school are approachable and that they are good and represent the school well.

This shots is a mid shot. This is because you cant see everyone’s body and you cant see all of their legs. I think this is a good shot to use because most of the magazine I used a medium close up or a mid shot. This allows the reader to see most of the people and a good angle.

I also used this picture on my front cover because one of my main headlines on the front cover is about new technology that has been installed. This shows somebody using the new technology. I also think that is shows what most people use when they are in school and that they get a chance to use a variety of technology not just a computer.

This shot is a an over the shoulder shot. I like this photo because not many people use it on a front cover. This will make my magazine unique to other magazines. I think that this is a good shot to use as it gets half of the person in but also it shows the technology they are using.

These are pictures that I decided to use for my contents page. I decided to use them because they relate to one of my stories on the front cover. My story on the front cover is about the year 11 prom pictures inside. This shows people that the school can work hard but have a good time also. It shows from the peoples faces that they are having a good time and really enjoyed them selves. It also shows us that they are treated like adults because they can go to a prom and behave good. This also shows the attitude of the school and how relaxed it can be and that people will work hard and will in the end get a reward. They images are long shots, this is where you can see the whole body of the people.
