Too Easy:• Have you read the book several times before?• Did you understand everything in the passage?•Did you know almost every word in the passage?•Did you read the passage smoothly without even having to think?
Too Hard:• Were you confused by what you read?• Were there many hard words in the passage, like 4 or 5 per page?• Was your reading choppy? (Test this by reading a page or paragraph out loud.)• Did you enjoy reading this passage?
