Putting The Bible Into Practice:Read John 5:1-7. Describe the sights, sounds, smell, mood & people at the pool. What was the invalid likely feeling? How can you relate to the invalid? Describe Bible characters whoconfined God to only doing what seemed possible? Do you do that? Why? Are you now?

Read John 5:8-18. Imagine you are the invalid. Describe what the 2 interactions with Jesus& the religious leaders was like. Where & how has Jesus already done the impossible?What is the closest Jesus has come to saying to you, “Get up, pick up your mat and walk?”

What holds you back from embracing the supernatural? Where are you seeking & praying for God to do the supernatural? What sustains you in the journey?
