Erick began his carrier at the then C& M Advocates where he was responsible for the Corporate aspect specifically focusing on Insurance claims and preparation of legal opinions to corporate clients including most of insurance companies including Tanzindia Insurance, Niko Insurance, Reliance Insurance etc.Erick worked for the international organizations, I- NGOs and Institutions working on refugee and Immi-gration Matters as an employee and as Legal Consultant.At Asylum Access Global, Erick worked as a Strategic and Policy Advocacy Coordinator, responsible for Strategic Litigation, meaning planning Strategic Litigations and policy Advocacy at both national, regional and international forums. This provided an opportunity to work with international lawyers working at an international level to address Human Rights and Immigration/Refugee rights abuse. This gave an oppor-tunity to see the big picture on international aspect of strategic Litigation and policy Advocacy work-ing with the relevant players in Migration and refugee issues including UNHCR, IDC and IOM and other I-NGOs.At CWS/RSC working for the US Government funded Immigration program, As a Program Coordinator Er-ick lead teams of Lawyers in South Africa, Rwanda and Tanzania who were constantly working with local legal fraternity to address immigration and refugee issues in these Countries.
