Its about being able to have a great idea and put it into ashort film so others can view and comment weather ornot its good enough to be made as a full film. Some shorts films have become successful throughfestivals. For Reservoir Dogs became a popular filmafter being noticed at the Sundance festival.

Was originally founded by Robert Redford. RobertRedford created a sense we unknown directorsand writers could share there story for free. Its a place were people created independent films. Its a successful worldwide known film festival.

The film The tree of life became a successfulAmerican film winning the Palme dOr award. Market the short films by holding festival days thatlast 2 days on a weekend.
