DESCRIPTION
The two rear grass baggers are designed to fit B-Series tractors.

(81 cm) Side Discharge mower specified for use with this attachment. The B-112 tractor may also be equipped with the bagger and mower combination described in the following paragraph.
The bagger having an "06CX" designation in the Vehicle Identification Number is designed for use on all other B-Series tractors, beginning with 1978 models. The tractor must be equipped with the 37 in. (94 cm) Side Discharge mower specified for use with this attachment.
ASSEMBLY
PREPARE MOWER (Fig. 1, 2 & 3)
37 in./94 em Mower Only: Install the supplied high lift blade on the right (discharge side) spindle, in place of the blade supplied with the mower. The lift tabs point toward the mower deck.
32 in./81 em Mower Only: Remove both blades supplied with the mower. Install the two supplied high lift blades as shown in Fig. 1. The lift tabs/ curved up section of the blades point toward the mower deck, as shown.
FIG. 1. Install High Lift Blades -32 in./81 em Mower Only
32 in./81 em Mower Only: Remove the chute extension. Position the deflector on the baffle at the front of the discharge opening so that the outside end curves upward (Fig. 2). Use the supplied 7)6-18 x % short neck carriage bolts, 7)6 lockwashers and 7)6 plain nuts to secure in place. The carriage bolts are installed with their heads toward the inside of the mower. DO NOT TIGHTEN.
FIG. 2. Install Deflector -32 in./81 em Mower Only
On either size mower, install the discharge elbow, using the hardware that holds the chute extension (Fig. 3 ). Place a new 7)6 washer, supplied, under each nut. Tighten the deflector (32 in./81 cm mower only).

FIG. 4. Drill Mounting Holes
-1-
If the seat support does not have holes for the quick-attach tubes, drill two ~6 holes in each side of the seat support in the locations shown in Fig. 4.
Secure a quick-attach tube to each side of the tractor's seat support, using %-lS x 1 % bolts and ~6- lS Eslok nuts (Fig. 5).
FIG. 5. Install Quick-Attach Tubes
Bagger for 37 in. (94 em) mower only: Attach the brace tube mounting pin to the rear of the tractor as shown in Fig. 6. Re-use the hardware installed in this location. If carriage bolts are installed in the mounting holes, reinstall the bolts from the INSIDE of the frame (the nuts on these bolts are more easily removed if a socket with universal joint, installed on a long extension, is inserted from the front side of the transmission - use tape over the carriage bolt heads to hold them in place).
FIG. 6. Install Mounting Pin (Bagger for 37 in./94 em Mower Only)
Slip the main frame into the tubes and secure with the two large hairpin cotters (Fig. 7).
Bagger for 37 in./94 em Mower Only: Secure the left and right support tube to the main frame and brace tube, as shown in Fig. S. Use two ~6-1S x 2)1 flat head machine screws, one ~6-1S x 2)1 bolt, two ~ -20 x 1)1 flat head machine screws, three %,-lS Eslok nuts, and two ~-20 Eslok nuts. The open end of the brace tube fits over the mounting pin.
Attach the reinforcing bracket between the RH support tube and the main frame, using two ~6-1S x 1)1 bolts and ~6-1S Eslok nuts.

FINAL ASSEMBLY (Fig. 10, 11, 12, 13)
Secure the discharge tube support to the right support tube as shown in Fig. 10, using the two ~ -20 x 1)1 flat head machine screws, two back up plates, and two ~ -20 Eslok nuts. Place a back up plate under each nut; avoid overtightening the nuts, to prevent cracking the plastic tube support.

Attach the top assembly to the welded tab on each su'pport tube, using two clevis pins, % washers and hairpin cotters. The flat washers are installed so that they will be under the hairpin cotters.
fiG. 11. Secure Top to Mounting frame
Attach the ring end of the elastic strap to the bracket attached to the inside of the top (Fig. 12).
fiG. 12. Attach Elastic Strap
With the top assembly in the open position, slip one end of the discharge tube into or over the elbow opening, as applicable; place the other end on the discharge tube support. Slip the two clipping containers into the frame (Fig. 13). Attach the hook end of the elastic strap to the bracket on the brace tube. Be sure the top is fully closed; the clipping containers must be "captured" by the metal bracket inside the top, or poor operation may result.

fiG. 13. Discharge Tube and Container Installation
REMOVAL
After the initial installation, the rear grass bagger is removed by the following method:
1. Remove clipping containers, discharge tube, and top assembly
2. Remove the two large hairpin cotters and remove the complete frame assembly
3. Remove the discharge elbow and the high lift blade
4. Install the "standard" mower blade, and the chute extension.
&CAUTION & Never operate the mower unless the chute
extension (guard) is in place, or the complete rear grass bagger is installed. The high lift blade (blades, 32 in./Sl cm mower) is for use ONLY with this bagging attachment. Always install the "standard" mower blade (blades, 32 in./Sl cm mower) when mowing without this attachment installed.
OPERATION
&CAUTION & Become familiar with all operating instruc
tions and safety suggestions contained in applicable Owner's Manuals before attempting to operate this equipment. Never perform any maintenance or repairs while the engine is running. Never remove the discharge tube, open the top, or remove clipping containers while the engine is running.
With a few exceptions, operation of the tractor with the rear grass bagger is similar to operation without it. Keep in mind that the tractor is made longer and wider when this attachment is installed, so be sure to avoid sharp turns in confined places. Also, do not trim with the right side of the mower, which can result in damage to the discharge elbow.
The bagger attachment is designed to operate efficiently at normal mowing speed. Due to the extra amount of power required to drive the mower, it may be necessary to reduce the ground speed of the tractor to keep the engine running smoothly, at maxi-
