Philadelphia Assembled began in late April as a series of activities and actions across the city that aimed to illuminate and amplify a broad set of hopes, visions, and questions about Philadelphia and its future. The participatory installation in the Perelman Building is the culmination of this collective project.

Old Masters Now: Celebrating the Johnson CollectionOpens Nov 3 Dorrance Galleries

In 1917, the most famous lawyer of his day left his astonishing trove of European art to the city of Philadelphia. One hundred years later, we’re taking a new look at one of this country’s most remarkable collections. Encounter treasures by the likes of Botticelli, Bosch, Titian, Rembrandt, and Monet—and see how art historians keep making new discoveries about the collection.
