different applications or software to communicate While allowing them to message their friends...

• Like a road between two islands, it allows information (instead of cars) to travel to and from each one.

• Many marketing tools and online platforms rely on them

• They’ve helped them become much easier to use, like Mailchimp, Facebook and Twitter to name a few

• People normally want their app to send or take information from another database or server

• This is only possible if there’s a road or API to get there…that the app can connect to. No road, no app.
