Feedback Should Include:

O Why didn’t the student receive 100%?

O What did the student do right?O Did you notice a pattern of what the

student made mistakes on?

For example: The student needs help with writing a thesis.

DiscussionsO Put the students into small groups

and make them answer a few questions. Walk around the classroom to hear what they have to say. Make sure that they’re on the right page. Then, come together as a class and answer the questions. Try to include both sides of an issue.

O Talk about the implications and ramifications for every topic.

Homework O Every assignment should be

practical. The goal is to make students remember the material after they graduate from k-12.
