that Pine Hill Middle School), which is a Title I school must have a policy that involves parents. In Title I schools, parental input is welcomed to express how the school functions.

• The policy comes under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965. It provides assistance to improve the education of children due to the change of income status; loss of job, elderly, and grandparents raising children with no reliable income, enabling those children to meet state academic content and performance standards.

• The policy establishes the school’s expectations for parental involvement activities and describes how the school will implement the activities and it is to be incorporated into the school’s plan that is submitted to the local educational agency (LEA).
