Founded as a Metropolitan Nashville Public

School in 2007, Nashville Big Picture High School

focuses on core values that produce great

citizens. We view learning as a process of growth

and change that is accentuated by the creation of

quality products. There are high expectations for

each student. These expectat ions are

individualized, authentic assessed through project

work (products/portfolio) and public exhibitions.

Students are also required to meet and pass all

required Tennessee State Academic Standards

Nashville Big Picture High School builds more

than just great students--we build great human

beings. Individualized instruction occurs in a

small school setting and students grow through

relationships with their parents, peers, advisors,

and mentors. Rigourous academics combines

with relevance as Big Picture students pursue

passions and interests by spending two days a

week learning in the real world through

internships and giving back to the Nashville
