What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this

product?

Adobe Photoshop

When creating my music magazine in Adobe Photoshop, I learnt many new skills which helped to make my magazine look more professional.

Since creating my school based magazine for my preliminary task, I have learnt how to use render in lighting effects. This has helped in editing my photos by putting artificial lighting into my photo of the band I have used performing and stood near the stage.

This has helped me because it makes photos look better and more professional. I have also learnt how to use a clipping mask.

Camera Usage

I used a Nikon D3000 to take my photo for my front cover. This is a professional SLR camera which can take professional photos. I learnt how to use lighting and how to make a photo look sharp by using this camera. However, I have learnt that I need to take an extra battery or make sure the battery is fully charged before taking it out as the camera died after taking my cover photo. This resulted to me having to use a standard digital camera that was not as professional as the SLR.
