What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Blogger

This was my first time posting on any sort of blog let alone Blogger, Blogger was a innovative way to post my work online, I had to get used to the features of blogger such as embed codes which allow me to embed my Presentations for example on Prezi to my blog. I also learnt how to customise and change the template of my blog. Learning how to manage my work on blogger was vital as I needed visit some parts of my planning for second draft(which can be found in the older posts). Another concept I had to learn about is how to size the images I have posted on blogger to fit my blog and therefore I had to choose the number of pixels.

Facebook

This was my first time ever creating a facebook page so others can like and follow it. I invited people in my friends list to like the page, I also learnt that you can turn your page into an ad. In the process of making the page I added images and text and bit of information to tell others what the page is about. I also learnt how to access my page via Smartphone which allows you to see your page as others would see it.

Smartphone

With this project smart phones were very helpful because they allowed me to access facebook, blogger and slide share, this was a surprise to me because I didn’t really know presentation software's can be used so easily via Smartphone.

Even though I took my images by using a camera I learnt how to use effects and add more contrast and increase sharpness on my imaged by using Aviary, a software on my phone.

Uploading

There was quite a few methods I used to upload my work on to my blog .

Prezi : this was a really creative way to make slides, I had to learn how to create a slide from scratch on there because unlike slide share and scribd I couldn't upload the file from my computer once I had made it.

Slideshare : slideshare was a really easy way to upload slides and this was the method I used the most . I learnt how to upload it on slide share it after creating a PowerPoint document. I also learnt that slide share is like a online database where you can share your work with others and you can see the number of people who have seen your work by the number of views.

Info.gram : info.gram was easy to use with my evaluation however I didn’t use images because it was harder to place them.

Scribd : Once I had created the word document I learnt how to upload it. I also

learnt by adding a description and by adding a category it was much easier to find my work on there.
