Technology of production

EDWANEX makes use of three different types of production technology: manual – handmade mouth-blown glass production, a press machine, and an IS machine for bottle production.The unique combination of the various technologies allows us to achieve the best results regarding shape, capacity, and quality of the final products.

Edwanex manufactures bottles in short series, starting from2000 pieces. The bottles produced vary from 50 ml up to 4,5 litres, reaching up to 1 metre in length. What is more, the factory provides decoration services such as spray-painting, silkscreen, decal, etching and sandblasting.

The company has also developed its own unique method of closure production which is an alternative to traditional cork and screw tops.

Process timeline

Making a preliminary drawing based on the customer’s idea

At the beginning, clients send us a technical drawing or sample of the product they want us to manufacture for them. If clients have an idea but do not have a design yet,we can help them with the design process.

Cost estimate of the moulds and the unit price

Once the design is prepared, EDWANEX prepares a cost estimate of the moulds as well as a unit price based on theweight of the final product,its shape, the production process to be applied and the type of decoration.

Creating a bottle prototype

When the financial aspects are concluded, a glass prototype or a 3D printed model is sent to the client. It is crucial to make sure that clients get an idea of what their final product will look like before production begins.

Making moulds for the final product

EDWANEX has its own workshop for mould production.

Implementation of the final project with complete technical documentation

Creation of the final bottleproduct in accordance with the customer’s requirements.
