One-third of the officers shall retire by rotation each year. Members of the Company are entitledto vote on the re-appointment of the Council at the Annual General Meeting and are alsoentitled to propose Officers for appointment to the Council.

Review of ActivitiesDuring the period the Company undertook two operatic productions at the Churchill Theatre,Bromley. In addition, the Company undertook a number of Music Hall shows.

The Company is dependent upon considerable input from volunteers. The Company isessentially amateur, however it does make use of professional and semi-professionalperformers, directors, musical directors, choreographers and stage crews when the need arises.

Financial ReviewAfter charging all expenses, the Income and Expenditure Account showed a surplus of f16,841.This surplus included an amount of K8,925 (2018: f6,422) of Theatre Tax Credit. The balancecarried forward in the Income and Expenditure Account was f, 137,112.

Three productions were mounted in the year and the details of the surplus or deficit of thoseproductions are as follows:-

f.

"Anything Goes""Sister Act"

(10,842.63)15,258.83

A number of Music Halls were also performed during the course of the year that raised f415.

The balance sheet continues to remain strong. However given the uncertainty of the financialperformance that surrounds each individual production, the Directors consider it important tomaintain the society's solvency in order to continue its policy of staging operatic works, so anumber of music hall events are planned for 2020.

The Society has no investments other than funds held on deposit with the Society's bankers.

The Directors believe that the assets are adequate to meet the Society's obligations.
