We’re pleased to provide this brief overview of West Tanker’s structure and history of achievement in NSW.
This Capability Profile aims to provide you with an effective introduction to the company and an insight to our expertise.
Our Head Office is strategically located in Cameron Park, Newcastle NSW. With our close proximity to major road networks and fuel terminals, we are well positioned to meet our customer’s needs and play an integral role in the local business environment.
Over the past 12 years, West Tankers have
successfully helped to deliver some of the
Newcastle/Hunter Region’s largest and most
important infrastructure and construction
projects.
We have now expanded our operations
across NSW and we’re determined to build
on this success into the future.

2. Key Members of the West Tankers Team
General Manager – Rohin Walandouw
18 years experience in business management and frontline leadership roles in
the Telecommunications Industry. Previously fulfilling the role of Business
Development Manager with West Tankers, Rohin brings enthusiasm and
proven capability to develop and maintain client, stakeholder and team
relationships as well as successfully manage the day to day activities of a
dynamic & growing business.
Director – Bronwyn Wilson
Sole Director and Founder of West Tankers in 2001. Bronwyn started her
company with 1 tanker and 1 customer. Bronwyn has a very hands-on role in
her business, having driven her tankers for 13 years delivering fuel to her
clients. Now, with a fleet of 12 tankers and a much larger customer base,
Bronwyn’s time is spent in the West Tankers office mentoring her daughters
Melissa and Katelin.
Fleet Manager – Tom Wilson
Tom has 23 years previous trade experience. Starting with West Tankers as a
tanker driver, Tom now manages our fleet maintenance schedule, workshop
operations and associated assets. Additionally, Tom has accountability for
West Tankers operator skill set and training requirements.
Operations / WHSE Manager – Damien Moloney
Damien brings a wealth of experience to West Tankers with his strong
background in data analysis, resource management, reporting and logistics.
Damien has an eye for detail and expertise in system and procedure
development. This expertise ensures West Tankers operations, service levels
and safe work culture continue to improve.

3. Plant & Equipment
West Tankers have a large fleet of modern tankers of various capacities, ranging from our smaller 2,000L
Mitsubishi Canter for sites with tight access and low height restrictions to our larger 20,000L Twin Steer
Mercedes Actros for bulk deliveries, locomotives and project site refuelling.
West Tankers dedicated Fleet Manager oversees our strict, routine maintenance schedules to ensure maximum
performance and efficiency from our fleet and other key assets.
Quality resources and tools are integral to ensuring quality outcomes with zero downtime for West Tankers and
our clients.
Technology Our entire fleet has state of the art Navman GPS systems installed that synchronise with
terminals in our offices. Our operators use this system to ensure the quickest, safest route is taken on each
allocated delivery. The system also allows remote monitoring of our fleet by our scheduling and operations team,
ensuring the safety of our drivers and the security of our assets.
New Tankers West Tankers most recent addition to the fleet is our
Mercedes Atego 1629 with higher ground clearance and 4x4 drive train.
The Atego allows us greater flexibility in servicing clients in rough and
demanding conditions.
Project sites, quarries, farmers and remote situations - West Tankers
have the capability..... all whilst ensuring the safety of our operator drivers.

Fittings Each of our tankers is fully equipped with the full suite of
necessary fittings, attachments and hoses to service all type of
customer requirement.
Banlaw quick fill guns (Rail and Machine), cam-lock fittings, Hi-Flow
nozzles, pipe and hose reducers, 2” hoses for fast transfer etc.

4. West Tankers – History
2001
Business started by Director Bronwyn Wilson. Operating from West Wallsend NSW with 1 tanker and 1
customer – Speno Rail.
2002
West Tankers 2nd truck purchased. Bronwyn’s Father Phil Graham becomes an integral part of the business,
also driving the tankers and maintaining the trucks.
2003
In early 2003 West Tankers began servicing its first major infrastructure project:
Karuah Bypass, Pacific Hwy Upgrade Baulderstone Hornibrook
2004-2009
West Tankers customer base grew significantly in the local area. So too did the diverse range of industries
serviced. West Tankers capabilities increased to meet customer requirements. The fleet consisted of 6 tankers
with a workforce of 7 employees.
2010-2014
As West Tankers reputation grew, so too did it’s class of customer

and Hunter Expressway.
With ready access to major road networks, fuel terminals and close geographical proximity to Sydney, Central
Coast, NSW Mid North Coast, Upper Hunter and Inner West NSW, we are well positioned to service our client’s

6.3 Agriculture
West Tankers provide industry leading service to our customers in the Agriculture sector. Working closely with
our clients, West Tankers will develop a delivery schedule ensuring your fuel supply is consistent, of high quality
and never runs out.
With our close proximity to the Hunter Valley’s Vineyard Industry, cattle farms, horse studs and diverse range of
breeders and growers, we are able to tailor our onsite refuelling services to the individual.
Direct to farm machinery and bulk tanks, West Tankers will deliver premium quality Diesel, Unleaded and
Premium Unleaded fuels.
West Tankers also delivers the full range of quality Valvoline Lubricants direct to our clients property.
6.4 Emergency Response
Our Emergency Response service is utilised by the
NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS).
West Tankers provide direct, onsite access to diesel
fuel for fire trucks and service vehicles, critical to
battling dangerous fire conditions that threaten life
and property.
Working rotating shifts, our Diesel Tankers are
situated in a designated location in a close but safe
proximity to the fire front. Our operators work closely
with RFS operations teams to co-ordinate the
refuelling activities.

West Tankers have the capacity to deliver up to 20,000L of both Diesel and Unleaded fuels. We also supply fuel
cells in a range of sizes with quality pumping and metering equipment if required.
West Tankers refuel onsite generators of all sizes. Our fuel
monitoring service ensures the continuity of fuel supplies for
the running of diesel fuelled back-up generators that supply
critical sites with an uninterrupted supply of electricity.
Larger bulk fuel cells for remote and industrial power supply
to smaller project site power supply generators, we do it all.
Our services are utilised for broadcast towers, project site
sheds, carnivals & events, temporary buildings, backup for
medical premises, shutdown activities and other commercial
applications.
