Emily Church began Everything Kitchens with $500 when she was 19 years old. She is the oldest of nine children and was motivated to lift herself out of poverty. Emily is now a mother herself, running a fast-growing company that has 24 employ-ees. Emily has always had a heart for chil-dren in third world countries and supports

Sandy’s career exemplifies her deep commitment to improving quality of life through arts and education. She is currently in her seventh year as Deputy Director at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Prior to that, she served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Develop-

ment at the University of Arkansas for nine years. She and her late husband, Clay, served as the management team for University Development directing a one billion dollar campaign. Sandy is an inspiration to all of us who want to be entrepreneurs.

Loa Freeman is a business owner/con-sultant with over 30 years of experience. Success Naturally, Inc. is a yoga, image, and education center. She and her business were awarded the Torch Award for Small Busi-ness by the Better Business Bureau. Addi-tionally, she is a Regional VP with Arbonne International. Recognized nationally as a

leading yoga practitioner and teacher, Loa has traveled the world studying and instructing others. She is also co-founder of the Doula Foundation of Mid-America (DFMA), a not-for-profit birthing sup-port organization.

Sally has been past chairman of Coca-Cola Bottler’s Association, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, Spring-field Area Manufacturers Assocciation, United Way of the Ozarks, Missouri Department of Economic Development

Workforce Investment Board, Leadership Springfield, Boys and Girls Club of Springfield, and Junior League of Springfield. In addition to her outstanding leadership skills, she is supportive of women entrepreneurs and has exceptional insight for business.

Christine Daues graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Communica-tions where she spent the majority of her work experience in Broadcast News,16 years to be exact. After working in T.V. news in Ohio, a job at KY3 brought her to Missouri in 1998. During a three year break, Christine worked at a food market-

ing company where the experience would prove lifesaving as she launched her own granola company, Granolove, in 2010. 10% of Granolove’s profits go to Shriners Hospitals for Children, where her daughter is treated.

Debra manages banking relationships for Small Business clients in the South-West Missouri area. Prior to joining US Bank, she began her banking career in 1983 with CharterBank in Springfield, MO. Over the next 21 years, she continued her career with what was ultimately known

as Bank of America. Ms. Yeager retired from Bank of America. In 2004, she then joined Great Southern Bank as Banking Center Manager specializing in small business and personal banking rela-tionships. In 2013, Ms Yeager joined US Bank in her current role.

Meghan ChambersOwner, Staxx and Jellybean Clothing for Children

Meghan graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2003 with a Marketing Management Degree. Shortly thereafter she opened Staxx in March of 2004 and 7 years later she also acquired Jellybeans children’s store. Over the past several years, Megan has been involved in several civic and non-profit organizations such as the Cham-ber of Commerce, Developmental Center of the Ozarks, and Downtown Springfield Association, to name a few. Meghan’s especially loved charity is Kadyn’s Krew, a group fighting for a Cystic fibrosis cure. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two daughters, Harlow (3) and Finley (2).

Graf is the founder and concept-creator of CrowdIt. As Springfield, Missouri’s SCORE Chapter President and business intermediary for Murphy Business & Fi-nancial Corporation’s central region since 2010, Graf has an unwavering drive to improve and support small business and

startup success. With more than 13 years of experience in business and finance, Graf ’s passion for business, marketing, planning, and financing has helped other business owners get the support they need to flourish in today’s economic climate.

David was the Director of the Arkansas Procurement Assistance Center, Little Rock, from June 2012- April 2013. David was a career Army officer where, in addition to serving as a company commander, he was a contracting offi-cer and project director. David was also the Commander of the Defense Contract Management Office – Albuquer-que. He is certified Level III in both Contract Management and Program Management. David has been a Certified Professional Contracts Manager since November 1993 and was awarded a lifetime certification in November 2013. After 23 years, he retired from the Army in June, 1999. David has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administra-tion from the University of Central Missouri; a MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology - Melbourne; and, a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville.

Nancy Erickson graduated from William Woods University in 1987 with a degree in Business Administration. While earning a Masters in Business Manage-ment from Cardinal Stritch College, in 1994 she opened her first office for Edward Jones in Verona, Wisconsin. Three years later, she left her profitable branch in

Wisconsin to move to southwest Missouri. She found her perma-nent professional home in Bolivar when she took over a vacated office in 2003 and has since turned it into one of the most success-ful investment businesses in southwest Missouri.

Since 2006, Debbie has been actively helping friends and families find that special place they call home. Debbie has a Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri State University and a Master’s Degree from William Woods University and 30 years experience as an elementary school

educator in the Springfield School Systems. Her keen interest in all things related to real estate led her to get her license in 2006. Her ability to apply skills she acquired from years in the classroom have translated into a well-organized and successful real estate business.

Karen began her insurance career after closing her business, Furniture Gourmet. Karen had developed Furniture Gourmet, an internet home decor retail company, while she worked full time as National Sales Manager of KYTV. After 5 years of balanc-ing both, Karen left KYTV to run her own company full time. However, it eventually

became clear that it was time to close down and begin something new. Insurance has a special appeal to her as it allows her to help clients build a strong foundation of protection for their loved ones. Karen is an active member of several organizations in Springfield.

Rayanna has consulted with over 2,000 businesses and presented over 250 seminars on a variety of business topics. She recieved the Star Performer Award from the As-sociation of Small Business Develeopment Centers in the premiere year of the award.

She was also named one of the Springfield Business Journal’s Most Influential Women for 2011. Additionally, Rayanna has helped small business owners acquire over $100 million in financing. She has four years of accounting experience and ten years of manage-ment experience with Dillard’s prior to joining SBDC.

Chris Graduated with a degree in Orga-nizational Communication from Murray State University in Murray, KY. Following family to Springfield, Chris started a career in restaurant and club management before taking a role as Sales Coordinator for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

His current role focuses on member engagement, small business growth, and relationship building in the community. Chris is ac-tive in the community including Rotary North of Springfield and The Network, the chamber’s young professional group.
