THIS WEEK WELCOME! Were glad youre here and have decided to join us today! We pray and expect you will connect with God and have an experience with the Holy Spirit who heals, guides, comforts and saves. Our teacher this morning is Lee Stover. Lee and his wife, Jenna, attend the Living Water Sheldon campus and have been members of the church for about 6 years. They have two boys: Lincoln, who is two and a half, and Lennox, who is just over three weeks old. Lee graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City in 2010 and an internship led him into his job as Marketing Director at RISE Ministries where hes been ever since. He also has a deep passion for music that he pursues by co-owning a DJ service called Stovetop Productionsand he recently released an independent Christian hip-hop album at the beginning of the year. SCRIPTURE: John 3:16 SUMMARY: What is the gospel? We talk a lot about the Gospel message and how to live that out, but what exactly does the Gospel mean? We continue our sermon series dedicated to answering this question. KEY POINTS: - If the gospel is the good news, whats the bad news? Romans 3:23 - Bad news is still bad AND real even if we arent aware of it - The gospel, the good news,can be broken down into this formula: God-man-Christ-response - What is our response to the good news? - What does it really mean to believe? Romans 10:9,10 - What are the two ways we believe? A. (Heart) B. (Mouth) - The first part of the word Gospel= (GO) NOTES: GET INVOLVED OUR FAMILY It's QUESTION me again! Items will be placed in the Sheldon Living Water Food Closet and given to those in need and in partnership with Love, INC. COMMUNITY GROUPS: Small groups of people who enjoy staying connected to each other by discussing life, studying scripture, playing, eang, serving, and invesng in one another. This person will understand and fully support the mission of Living Water and exhibit maturity, sensivity and leadership skills. The qualified candidate will work directly with our pastoral staff to ensure all administrave tasks are efficiently and effecvely implemented. The qualified candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage mulple tasks at once. Those with experience in managing general office responsibilies will be priorized.
