How to become a Christian1. Admit to God that you have done

things that oppose His desires for you.“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

2. Acknowledge Jesus Christ as God’s only solution to your condition.“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:63. Ask God to forgive your sins and

invite Jesus into your life. “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”

What to Pray“Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for coming to earth, living an unblemished life, and dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive you as Savior and Lord of everything I do. Make me the kind of person you want me to be.”

What to DoGo to God in prayer daily. Read God’s word daily. Open your life to other Christian friends. Worship God weekly at church.

ANNOUNCEMENTSTASK – Teaching After School Kids from 3:30 – 4:30 pm every Thurs. for M.C. students. Volunteers can listen to reading, help with spelling words, or do more involved lessons such as math. We need snacks, servers, helpers & tutors. Sign up in Fellowship Hall.

Please note – there will be NO Sunday School on December 24th or December 31st.

Restoring His Gathering Place captial campaign will end in early 2018. The proposed cost for Fellowship Hall, kitchen and upstairs bathrooms will not exceed $25,000. Donation envelopes are in Fellowship Hall or the church office. Each $20 gift will be marked on the donation board.

Tickets at the door. * 35th Annual Ecumenical Cantata at St. Anthony’s, Sunday, December 10th at 2:00 pm. A free-will offering will be taken to benefit the 2018 Cantata and the Food Pantry * Wallis Holiday Open House at the Parsonage, Sat. Dec. 9th 6-8 pm. Lots of yummy desserts!! * Annual Christmas Potluck Sunday, Dec.17th following worship. Bring a dish to pass and your table service.
