You Can Help Family Promise By Eating Out!

Family Promise is so fortunate to be supported by local eateries! Two of our

local restaurants will host Family Promise patrons. Join us to learn more about

helping the homeless children in or community! You know you are going out

to eat anyway – so come on in, eat and enjoy and know that a portion of the cost

of your meal will help Palm Beach County’s homeless children. On August 7th

from 11am to 9 pm, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza. 2680 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach

Gardens will donate a percentage of their receipts to Family Promise. Reserve

early so that we reach our goal: https://www.groupraise.com/events/64606.

Backpacks for School Children

The Care Ministry will be collecting backpacks for underprivileged children in

Lake Park. We need backpacks for kindergarteners—8th graders. They do not

need to be expensive, but they do need to have sturdy zippers. Contact Harry

Drier at [email protected] with any questions. Backpacks can be left in the patio

storage room.

Knitting Group

The knitters from our Prayer Shawl Ministry will take a break for the rest of the

summer. We will be knitting again in the fall. Please watch the bulletin for our

start up date.
