Math League Regional and National

Math League is a vital activity will give you the opportunity to not only evaluate your students’ math skills, but will also let you know where your students stand in relation to other schools' math programs. The objectives of this event are to stimulate an interest in math, to recognize the achievements of students in the advanced math classes, and to offer students an opportunity to glorify God in the use of their mathematic abilities beyond the classroom. Description: The math league competition is an activity that takes place on your campus. Students must be enrolled in the subject area in which they are participating. Students take a series of tests in their subject area. There are six sections of competition: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Within each section, there will be a series of 4 tests. You may allow as many students as you want to take the test. Only schools that have completed all four tests will be eligible for competing in National Math League. Registration entitles you to participate in National Math League at no additional cost. Southeastern Math League is broken down into divisions based on school size. Schools advancing into National Math League will compete with schools of all sizes. Grades levels 7-12 are eligible. Division I (1 - 250 students)/Division II (250 - 500 students)/Division III (500 + students Schedule: Tests will be emailed at the end of February. The four tests should be administered by all schools March 2 – April 10. All results must be faxed to the ACSI regional office by April 10th. The top-scoring school in each subject advances to the National level with tests administered April 13-17. A result sheet will be printed after the scores are received listing the scores of each school, cumulative school scores, and individual perfect scores. Awards will be given to schools/students that complete all 4 tests: Each student completing four tests will receive a Certificate of Participation. For each division: Ribbons will be given for the highest individual cumulative score per section in each school. Ribbons will also be given to students earning a perfect score on any test. Medals will be given for the highest individual cumulative score overall per section. A plaque will be given for the highest school cumulative score per section. Fees:

There is a $50.00 participation fee per section. The registration deadline is November 1st . This cost includes tests, solutions, result sheets, and awards. Instruction booklets, score sheets, and cumulative record forms will be emailed to you after registration.

Presents...

...Stories: a Worldview Exploration of our Passions, Journeys, and Purpose The program is designed to reach out to your students, no matter what stage of their faith journey they find themselves. Each

student who attends a Worldview Weekend will be challenged to ask themselves whether they are seeking life pursuing

gospel-centered ideals or one following their own path. As we read what the Bible has to say to young people considering

their futures, we think God has a clear call on each generation, even from the youngest in your church or school, to set

themselves on a collision course with what God has prepared them to do!

Christian students today are a part of a world unlike any generation that has come before. Never before have the lines

between traditional belief systems, ethical standards, and vocational visions been so blurred. Students today are confused as

to why the Bible is different from any other religious book. They are confused about what the big deal is about hot-button

issues like marriage equality & traditional religious activities like going to church. Students are genuinely wondering why they

should ask what God wants them to do, when there are more options for their future than any other generation that has come

before. This gap, between clarity and ambiguity, is what we choose to step into.

We believe that the worldviews of students today have been skewed by a culture that loves to push boundaries, and since

worldviews turn into lifestyles, it is vital that someone steps in to show our students what the world has to offer them

can’t give them what they seek. We will help your students understand why the Christian story is the most compelling and

most truthful vision of and for our world today. They will begin to see how God has specially designed them to be a part of the

realizing of the gospel in our world today. And they will begin to see God’s purpose in even the smallest most mundane parts

of their lives.

Millenials learn better through hands on experiences, so after each speaker session, your students will take turns processing their

thoughts and scripture in small groups and in the Experience Room where interactive displays will be set up for students to create,

think, and process what they have heard. There will also be a video booth for the use of students who want to record thoughts

throughout the conference.

How can God do “Immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” if we aren’t imagining that much in the first place? It’s time to re-imagine the greatest calling on earth and grab hold of the life you were created to live.

Christians should be known for what they stand for, not what they stand

against. What would it look like to represent Him fully

in every aspect of life? How do you become the change you wish to see in your environment?

Christians should impact, not escape

culture and inspire others to do the same. What is God calling you to do with your life? When pressed with this question, many of us struggle to see how our unique personalities, passions, and past experiences come together for one, full life of following Jesus. Our day-to-day existence can feel fragmented, as we manage all of life’s demands while also trying to keep God as our first priority.

#LiveFully will challenge your view of the Christian life, vibrantly illustrating how following Jesus

transforms all 7 areas of personal life and impacts all 7 channels of culture. It is relevant for

those seeking to find their purpose and place in the world and those who are discontent with a spiritual life

that doesn’t engage with cultural issues. #LiveFully is for those who want to make an impact in sectors and

professions outside the “church” world.
