When opening MS Project or Project server you will immediately be prompted to log in

Note: The “PWA” link is located in your site “project management” folder in Xythos

Updating Tasks
Step #1—update % complete
Step #2 save your changes
*Tip: (project managers) you must have a task duration set to a minimum of 1 day when creating your project or your update will not save in PWA.

Check the box of the task(s) you are updating then click “submit selected”
Your updated task is waiting for approval from the project manager

Click the task to see update and notes from team member who updated the task

Click “accept” or “reject” add your comments in this field

Note: when a project is open for editing, the file is “checked out” of project server so it is not available for others to edit.

Always make sure “do not create work space at this time” is checked
Click “publish”

You will be asked if you are ready to check the project file back in. Click “yes” and close project.
