Students will copy homework into their assignment books every morning.

Students will not receive homework on weekends and holidays.

District Policy is 40 Minutes a Night for 4th Grade

Set Up Homework Routine

All students have chosen a Homework Buddy to call to get assignments or materials.

Page 15: Welcome to Mrs. Luczyszyn’s Class

Students must turn homework in when they enter the door.

Student work that is dropped off at the office after school starts will be marked late.

It is my hope that this policy will help children take more responsibility for their homework and assignments.

Homework Policy Continued

I do not grade homework assignments, however, I do check all assignments for completion.

I also review homework answers with the class.

If your child forgets their homework that day they fill out a Late Homework Notice.

The Late Homework Notice must be signed and returned to school.

I will be using a ticket system this year to help promote positive behaviors.

Individual students can earn and lose tickets based on their individual behaviors.

The class number determines how many tickets I pull out of the bin. I will pull these tickets on Friday afternoon.

This promotes teamwork and cooperation.
