This Week’s Banner... The teachers and classes at Immanuel
have made banners to decorate the
church in honor of its 150th
Anniversary. This week’s banner is
“Peace” made by 5th grade. Peace is
the third listed Fruit of the Spirit.
Jesus gave us His peace in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my
peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not
your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” Immanuel
Lutheran School teaches our students about Jesus so that His
peace may dwell in each of them.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE
PROPERTIES COMMITTEE
Have you ever considered how you can help
to take care of God’s House and His school
here at Immanuel? There are mes when we
can save the cost of hiring professionals and
use the money to further God’s Kingdom,
because volunteers have skills and are willing
to give of their me to accomplish various
tasks around the building. Perhaps you have noced a need
somewhere and are interested in volunteering to correct it. Some
projects will require skilled people, while others won’t require
special abilies. Some projects will have a skilled volunteer
overseeing the work, helping others to learn-as-they-go. You do not
need to be a member of Immanuel to volunteer, and anyone high
school age and older is welcome.
To Volunteer…As you can see, there are lots of things to do,
and we need more hands involved to accomplish the tasks. Contact
Bill Mayyou at (847) 520-0715 or [email protected] with any
quesons.
