• Length of time to earn diploma varies depending on transcript evaluation and placement testing

College Experience• Focuses on understanding the culture and expectations of the U.S. higher education system

• Students develop the skills necessary to achieve academic success in a college setting

• Required of all new students who have English proficiency and will be attending academic classes at GRCC

• Class is three hours per week and is in addition to student’s regular academic class schedule

• Class is held the first five weeks of the quarter and will be scheduled the first or second quarter the student is at GRCC

Housing Placement • Completed Housing Application

• $300 Housing Placement Fee includes the following-Airport greeting and pick-up and transportation service

-Move-in kit for CCA students (sheets, pillow, towels, etc.)-For homestay students: $100 credited toward first month’s rent-Area orientation and local contact

• Students are placed in housing when completed application and Housing Placement Fee are submitted

• Refund policy: $300 placement fee refundable upon request if student cancels application two weeks prior to housing/move-in day
