nowhere for them to release this. So, we’re

losing our youth. Losing them to bad company, drugs, delinquency.”

But it brought some local heroes to the fore...

Nias, IndonesiaImagine if...

you could not afford to go to school? you could only earn 50 cents a day? both your parents died and you were

left with nothing? you are alone and you fall sick? you are hungry and have no money to

buy food? What would you do?What would your future be?

Today’s Hopelessness

Children and Youth in Nias have needs, not desires.

Most of the basic needs such as food, water, shelter, and education are not always met.

Tomorrow’s Hope

An OrphanageHousing about 140 orphans

Run by Singaporean coupleMichael and Sin Tha Christian

What happened during the Tsunami?

This is what he said:“By finding them (the children), I

found myself. They are part of my family. I do miss Singapore

but my life is here”

The earthquake has damaged one of its three buildings. None of the children were hurt as the orphanage was built on a hill.

God’s Point of View

1 John 3:16-18If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

Success in life goes beyond the material things. It touches

things that are eternal. It touches lives of the people surrounding us each day.

Be a blessing today!
