What‘s the name of the new company?The former SCA Schucker GmbH & Co. KG is Atlas Copco IAS GmbH now. IAS

stands for „Industrial Assembly Solutions“. Moreover, IAS is a division of Atlas

Copco‘s Business Area Industrial Technique.

When does the new name apply?The change of name was entered in the commercial register in February. Since

then, we officially have the legal name of Atlas Copco IAS GmbH. As part of

the rebranding, we have start to send our e-mails from Atlas Copco addresses.

These are usually firstname.lastname@atlascopco.com. However, we will also

be available via old e-mail addresses until further notice.

We offer adhesive bonding technology, self-pierce riveting systems and other

assembly solutions like tightening and bolting technique from a single source –

Certified management systemsAtlas Copco manufactures – at all locations worldwide – exclusively according

to the strictest German quality standards. We are certified to ISO 9001 and

VDA 6.4, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Our management systems thus fulfill all

the requirements of the standards for quality assurance, occupational safety,

environmental and health protection.

We are pleased to announce to you as our esteemed customers, suppliers and business partners that we – the former SCA Schucker GmbH & Co. KG – have started to act under our new name Atlas Copco IAS GmbH.

In this way, we bring together the well-known brands SCA and Henrob – with multiple locations – in our parent company with one brand: Atlas Copco. While we stand with SCA for adhesive, sealing and metering technology, our market-leading sister company Henrob offers self-pierce riveting systems as a further joining technology. In future, all products of these business units will be marketed together under the Atlas Copco logo.

This will allow us to rely even more intensively on the global Atlas Copco organization and to be an even stronger partner for you. Our goal is to become your central and strategic partner for all joining technologies, worldwide. The change of name and organization is part of our global strategy of providing all customers with as many services as possible from a single source. This gives you quick access to our complete product and service portfolio.

SCA and Henrob have been part of the Atlas Copco Group since 2011 and 2014, respectively. Both of us are the core units of Atlas Copco‘s Industrial Assembly Solutions division. The well-known brand name SCA will be retained as a product line. However, we will distribute the systems in the Atlas Copco design and under the Atlas Copco brand.

What will change for you and what benefits you can enjoy now, we have summarized for you the following list of questions and answers.

Atlas Copco IAS: your strategic partner for joining technology – worldwide!

All contacts remain the same!Your usual contact persons and all usual locations will be maintained for you.

All contracts are retained! All contracts and conditions remain valid and do not need to be renegotiated

and concluded. They remain unaffected in terms of content, but are adjusted to

our new company name if you wish so.

Will the ordering process change?Please place your orders just as you did before, with the same ordering

numbers. Deliveries will arrive just as reliably as in the past. In our billing

address you will only have to change our legal name to Atlas Copco IAS GmbH.

Our VAT number (tax ID) remains unchanged (DE183785948).

We adapt our exterior appearance. Our website and imprint, our e-mail addresses and contracts will be adjusted

immediately. Our business paper, business cards and promotional materials will

shortly receive the Atlas Copco design.

How will SCA-specific product content be found on the internet?Our content will be stored on the Atlas Copco pages, e.g. www.atlascopco.de

or www.atlascopco.com. You will find us under the tile “Industrial Assembly

Solutions“ (IAS). The previous website www.sca-solutions.com will receive the

Atlas Copco design. It is expected to be phased out later.

Our products are getting fancier. The adhesive bonding, metering and self-pierce riveting systems of SCA, Henrob

and other brands within the Group will gradually be given a different chic design

from Atlas Copco: more modern, more ergonomic, with a slightly more sophisti-

cated look – but just as reliable and secure as you are familiar with.

What will the products be called? There will be two product lines: the SCA adhesive bonding, sealant and

metering technology product line and the Henrob product line for self-pierce

riveting systems. All products are marked with the Atlas Copco brand logo.

With us you are fit for the future. Because we always think one step ahead!Today everybody is talking about Industry 4.0, but we are interested in the

requirements and solutions of the day after tomorrow. What materials do we

need to connect in 2025? Let‘s assume that the trend to save weight and reduce

CO2 emissions will continue. Independent of the future drives. Then a body must

New materials must be joined reliably. Here, the (“hybrid“) combination of
