High-level 3D Printing event in Dipoli, Espoo, FinlandFinnish 3D Printing association FIRPA organizes FIRPA 20th Anniversary Conference in Dipoli, Espoo, Finland on April 18-19, 2018.

Focus of the first conference day is in medical applications of 3D printing and on the second day the focus will be on industrialapplications. There will be speakers from 10 different countries in the conference.

In conjunction with the first conference day there will be a round table discussion in which a 3D Printing medical applications networkmight be founded. Behind the aim are chairs of the first conference day Professor Antti Mäkitie, University of Helsinki, Finland and Professor Ian Gibson Deakin University, Australia with their network partners.

Program of the second conference day is very specific. The conference keynote speaker is world’s best known consult and statisticsspecialist in 3D Printing Terry Wohlers, USA. In other presentations Voxel technology from HP, Siemens production solutions and Desktop Metal technology will be introduced. Topics like 3D printed optics, software modules for 3D printing, topology optimization, and distributed manufacturing will also be covered during the day.
