HomeworkShould take about 40-60 minutesReading and Math Logs are part of homework and
should be the responsibility of the student. Parents only sign at the end of each week (on Sundays).
Allow your child to work independently—homework is a review from the day’s lessons and should not need to be retaught.
Ask guiding questions instead of providing answers.If homework seems to be taking too long, go with
your gut! Let me know by sending a quick email or note that the homework assignment was too difficult, too long, etc.

Parent Portal – We are no longer printing midterm reports. You’ll need to register on the parent portal to access your child’s grades.
Students can access all of their textbooks online by going to my.sarasotacountyschools.net and signing on with their N number and pin number.
