the award-winning Black Horse Inn is a charming restaurant with 22

bedrooms that dates back to the 17th century.

Family owned and operated for 3 generations, the property has

character and real old worlde charm with original oak beams and open

fires and an abundance of Yorkshire hospitality.

The Black Horse Inn has an enviable reputation and been rewarded

for the quality of its food and service with an AA rosette. Our menu

changes seasonably and takes advantage of locally sourced produce.

can source we like to create fine food, served in a relaxed and friendly

Our Head Chef is skilled at bringing traditional dishes to life with

SleepAll of our 22 bedrooms are ensuite and situated within a series of

sympathetically converted cottages located adjacent to the Inn.

The bedrooms are the ideal haven for a peaceful night’s rest all with

their own individual character and charm.

We have the following three categories of rooms;

Courtyard Classic RoomsOur Classic courtyard rooms all share

the same rustic “old worlde charm” as

the rest of the property. They have their

own individual theme, ensuite facilities.

Superior RoomsOur Superior rooms are more

spacious and luxurious and all of them

have a bath and shower, bath robes

and DVD player.

Superior with Whirlpool BathThese rooms have the same luxurious

feel as our Superior rooms with the

addition of a whirlpool bath for even

greater relaxation.

DrinkOur bar is located in one of the oldest parts of the building and

provides a relaxing, cosy place to enjoy your favourite tipple.

ConferenceOur relaxing, quiet and convenient location, just 2 minutes from

Junction 25 of the M62, is ideal for all types of conferences, meetings

and seminars. For many years we have specialised in hosting special

celebrations such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, christenings

and funerals.

Although the property dates back to the 17th century, our facilities

are certainly 21st century! We have all the modern facilities including

complimentary WiFi throughout, TV & video hire.

We do have some sample menus for your special celebrations,

however, our catering offering is built around your specific
