• Allow at least 3-4 weeks for teachers or counselors to complete their recommendation portion of student applications.

• Students “invite” their teachers to upload and send letters of recommendation in Naviance.

• It is the student’s responsibility to research which schools require a letter of recommendation on their website.

• If the college does not ask for a letter of recommendation, they do not use it in the admissions process.

STUDENTS SHOULD NOT ASK THEIR TEACHER OR COUNSELOR FOR A RECOMMENDATION IF THE COLLEGE DOES NOT ASK FOR OR NEED A RECOMMENDATION.

1. Students request official high school transcripts through

Naviance.

2. Students MUST pay for their transcript before it can be sent

to a college, scholarship, NCAA or NAIA.

b) Transcript fee is $2.00 each.

It is the student’s responsibility to complete BOTH

parts of the above process, or transcripts can’t be sent.

• A part of in-state college tuition will be covered; amount will vary.

• Automatic - No Application Required (Must compete the FAFSA)

• The Class of 2021 is required to have four rigorous courses to be eligible for the HOPE and/or Zell Miller Scholarship.

HOPE Scholarship:

• 3.7 GPA for academic courses, 1200 on SAT (Reading and Math, 1 sitting), or 26 on the ACT (1 sitting).

• All of tuition will be covered. No housing, meals or books included.
