ON CAMPUS: PHYSICAL DISTANCING

● As of 8/6/2020, DWE has 478 On Campus Learners and 142 Online Learners. With 77% of our students on campus, we will have the opportunity to physically distance our homeroom classes across campus, to minimize mixing of students. This will be achieved by:

■ Space between lunch tables■ Recess zones■ Grade level assigned restrooms■ Staggered classes in the hallways■ PE classes will not mix

● On Campus classes will have a typical class size of 18-22, depending on the grade level.

● Homeroom classes are like a small “families.” Students will be taught to keep distance as much as possible and to wash/sanitize hands often.

● Personal supplies (pencils, crayons, etc.) will not be shared. Classroom materials, books, and technology will be shared. However, items will be sanitized between usages.
