Mass in ready-to-start mode on a WEINSBERGcaravan is defined as follows:

maximum permissible payload (luggage, payload, gas, water, petrol etc.) 310 kgThe “permissible total mass ” defines the maximumpermissible mass of the vehicle (vehicle incl. Optionalequipment / extras / packages, and gas, water,luggage, load, etc.) for driving.

For you as a caravan user the important value of themaximum user payload (for luggage, load, gas, water,etc.) is calculated from the difference between“permissible total mass” and “mass of the unladenvehicle”:Fitting optional parts will increase your caravan’s netweight, and reduce possible additional payload.Please contact your WEINSBERG dealer for a possibleincrease of your caravan’s GVW.

WEINSBERG caravans come with generous permissible vehicle payload options. By means of innovative solutions such as usinghigh performance steel chassis’ and honeycomb technology on furniture, low vehicle net weights are being realized. Law requires that the weight data of a caravan be expressed as “mass in ready-to-start mode” as well as the “permissible total mass” (DIN EN 1645-2)
