FOLK MUSIC FRIDAY W/ EULANE ROSE & FRIENDS: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 4:30, IVY LOUNGE: Please join us in the Ivy Lounge this Friday for Folk Music Friday, 4:30 6PM. BALTIMORE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, A SEASON OF VIVALDI @ STRATHMORE: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6; Departing Collington at 6:30PM. How do notes on a page communicate an idea? Why do we hear a thunderstorm, winters chill or a bird song when we listen to an orchestra play? Vivaldi set out to show Baroque critics that program music had its place among serious compositions. Those ideas he captures in music have made The Four Seasons a concert hall staple and a popular cultural touchstone. Marin Alsop, conductor; Jonathan Carney, violin; Vivaldi: The Four Seasons WEEKEND WEED WARRIORS: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7 9:30AM, TENNIS COURT PARKING LOT: Calling all weed warriors! Were meeting this Saturday! ANNAPOLIS CHORALE CONCERT: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7: The Annapolis Chorale's next concert is November 7, 2015 at 8 PM. Six Collington residents will be in this concert. About this performance: Tommy is a down-and-out bloke on the outskirts of Dublin. Between dodging his estranged wife and planning his next get-rich-quick scheme, theres not much to look forward to.
