POWER TRANSFORMER AT JHARAR SUBSTATION

COMMISSIONED

The Electrical EPC team completed the installation and

commissioning of a 5 MVA power transformer at Jharar

Substation in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh last week. This

substation is a part of the Kushinagar rural electrification

project awarded to Jakson under Saubhagya scheme.

ELECTRICAL EPC UPDATES FROM PROJECT SITES

JHARKHAND DDUGJY & IPDS PROJECT WORK

Transformer augmentation in different locations

and village electrification work is being carried out

under DDUGJY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram

Jyoti Yojana) & IPDS (Integrated Power

Development Scheme) in Pakur, Sahibganj in

Jharkhand.

The 220 KV, D/C 3 Phase transmission

line from Jasidih to Dumka in

Jharkhand state was commissioned on

rated voltage last week.

Project activities at various sites of the Vishakhapatnam

city underground electrical cabling project is being

executed by the Electrical EPC projects team. The project

was awarded to Jakson by Eastern Power Distribution

Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited (EPDCAL),

Government of Andhra Pradesh last year.

NOIDA SOLAR PLANT RESUMES MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS

Jakson solar module manufacturing plant in Noida, Uttar Pradesh resumed operations last week after

obtaining necessary approvals from government authorities. The state of the art plant manufactures

solar PV modules and other solar components. Manufacturing activity within the plant has been

restored significantly and both existing and new client orders are being executed. Dispatch of material

to clients has also started. It is currently operating with the mandated 33% manpower and all necessary

measures have been taken to ensure health & safety of workers.

HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURES AT NOIDA OFFICE

Jakson headquar ters in Noida resumed

operations after Covid 19 lockdown this week with

33% workforce. Various measures have been put

in place to ensure the health and safety of

employees. These include:

§ Sanitization of all vehicles entering the office

§ Temperature screening using IR thermometers

§ Checking Aarogya Setu App installation

§ A single point entry system through a

Disinfectant Tunnel

§ Hand sanitizers mounted on contactless

dispensing machines across the office

§ Do's & Don'ts Information Posters prominently

displayed across the office

§ Diagonal sitting arrangement to ensure social

distancing at workstations

§ Office spaces sanitized twice daily to reduce

the risk of contamination

The Jakson solar team organised an Online Knowledge Sharing

session last week with participation from M/SK Distributors, our

channel partner from Indore, Madhya Pradesh along with 16 other

dealers/distributors from the region. The session was focussed on

providing basic knowledge about a solar PV installation, while more

detailed information about Jakson On-Grid & Off-Grid Power Packs

was also shared with the participants. The attendees appreciated the

initiative and found the interactive session to be highly informative

and educative.
