Not so long ago, District 3’s Amber Lin was just a sweet young girl looking to gain some experience playing the game her dad taught her -- bridge. She had a good foundation, but was looking to learn more advanced bidding and the finer points of play. That’s the key... She was interested in - no, craved - learn- ing. And what a job of learning she has done! Not only did she advance in the game, but she made sure other kids advanced as well, by teaching them how to play and making sure they learned in a place that would nurture their efforts. And, she played and played. In 2015, the ACBL named her Queen of Bridge, and now she’s been named to a USBF (United States Bridge Federation) under-21 team to compete internationally. Congratulatons Amber. You’re doing great! USFB Team: Allison Hunt, Amber Lin, Isha Thapa, Kathleen Loeb, Asya Ladyzhensky, and Becca Wernis.

Welcome to the Meadowlands!

Local Girl Makes REALLY GOOD!Not so long ago, District 3’s Amber Lin was just a sweet young girl

looking to gain some experience playing the game her dad taught her -- bridge. She had a good foundation, but was looking to learn more advanced bidding and the finer points of play.

That’s the key... She was interested in - no, craved - learn-ing.
