great food and exceptional service, set in beautiful

surroundings with a charming ambience.

Over the years we have hosted countless weddings

with great success and are proud to have become a

The Fifth Grill Dining RoomThe Fifth Dining Room features linen covered tables, an inviting zinc bar, sparkling

chandeliers and sofas in front of a wood burning fi replace. This eclectic décor

gives the century-old room a look of understated and timeless elegance.

The Fifth Terrace

This heated, rooftop oasis with spectacular vistas of the city skyline wows visitors

any time of the year.

*The Fifth Grill and The Fifth Terrace may be rented separately or as a combination.

They are the ideal venue for wedding ceremonies, receptions of any kind, rehearsal

dinners or day-after brunch.

The Fifth Social Club

An attractive urban space inside the century-old Gelber warehouse with original

douglas fi r structure and fl oor to ceiling windows. Its feel changes from a light-fi lled

loft during the day to an exciting nightclub in the evenings complete with a built

in DJ booth and several full-service bars. The open fl oorplan can accommodate a

diverse range of set-up possibilities.

Cabin Five

Cabin Five refl ects the feel of a rustic Canadian homestead with a fun twist. An

alley entrance with an old staircase leads into the back of the century-old Gelber

warehouse. Inside, the room is reminiscent of a settler’s cabin with a hay wagon,

old wood bars, antiques and memorabilia.

This space lends itself to ‘day of’ bridal party preparations or smaller events such

as stag/stagette. It may be booked in combination with The Fifth Social Club.

Fifth Pubhouse

Converted from a mid-20th century textile factory space, Fifth Pubhouse has

kept its old charm and added a modern country twist for an updated look. The

Fifth’s tradition of fi ne food prevails. Our culinary team provides a gastro menu of

comfort food concentrating on a natural and sustainable cuisine.

With a fl exible layout that accommodates a diverse range of event sizes, this space

is ideal for casual receptions, rehearsal dinners or day-after brunch.

One Room at The Fifth

One Room at The Fifth offers a great collection of wines, specialty cheeses,

charcuteries and diverse gourmet menus. This intimate space features original

douglas fi r posts paired with an elegant décor and a full-length marble bar. One

Room is the perfect venue for small receptions, intimate wedding ceremonies,

rehearsal dinners, showers or day-after brunch. This space also lends itself to ‘day

of’ bridal party preparations or pre-wedding family gatherings.

Catering & Bar Services

Catering Options:All our catering is prepared in-house by our own chefs and their culinary teams. Catering options to consider:

• Sit-Down Dinners • Cocktail Receptions • Stand-Up Style Tasting Menu

• Buffet-Style Dinner • Marché Style Food Stations • Casual Style Passed

Menu Selections:• Menu selections are required two (2) weeks prior to the event date.

• A menu tasting (up to four guests) will take place once the menu has been chosen and confi rmed. It is typically scheduled one month before the wedding on a Thursday or Friday evening. (alcohol excluded)

PLEASE NOTE: if a menu has not been selected at time of payment, a suggested menu price will be used for quote/payment purposes. Final adjustments will be made once the client’s choice(s) have been received.

Late Night Snacks:• When late night snack catering is under $500, a labour charge of $30 per hour (min. 4 hours) plus HST will apply.

• No labour charge is added when late night snack catering is $500 or over.

Bar Arrangements:• Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are invoiced according to actual consumption.

• Various bar arrangements include: host bar, cash bar, drink tickets or a combination of.

• The Fifth offers a diverse selection of regular and premium products which are customized for each event.

• Personalized cocktails and welcome drinks are available upon request.

Wine Selections:• Our Sommeliers are happy to provide wine suggestions and pairings.

• Wine selections are required two (2) weeks prior to the event date to ensure availability.

• Specifi c requests and specialty purchases are accommodated when possible.

Booking & Payment InformationMinimum Guarantee:• A minimum guarantee is a minimum guaranteed expenditure based on food and beverage consumption only and is applied

to all events.

• Should the minimum guarantee not be met, the tax and service charges will be calculated on the minimum guarantee amount.

• Any applicable taxes and service charges as well as any incidentals (rentals, DJ, etc) do not apply towards the minimum guarantee.

Booking and Payment Information:• Pre-Wedding Venue Planning Fee: $1500.00 plus HST; includes pre-wedding venue planning, coordination with the

client’s own wedding planner, up to four on-site visits, standard personalized and printed menus/food station signage, special tasting dinner of the selected menu (up to four guests, alcohol excluded). *PLEASE NOTE: the pre-wedding venue planning fee does not include on-site event coordination the day of the wedding.

• The Pre-Wedding Venue Planning Fee is used as a deposit to secure your date; once paid it is non-refundable.

• An estimated quote will be issued along with a contract and a payment schedule.

• Once the estimated quote is confi rmed and the contract is signed, monthly payments will be processed according to the payment schedule. The full remaining balance of the confi rmed estimate is due 30 days prior to the event date.

• Should the event take place within 30 days of booking, the confi rmed estimate is to be paid in full upon receipt.

• Venue Rental Fee: This fee may vary according to venues and dates.

PLEASE NOTE: a valid credit card on fi le is required once the contract has been signed.

Final Payment:• Final payment is due at the close of the wedding. Unless a different credit card is provided, fi nal billing will be charged to

the credit card on fi le.

• Should the actual bar and food consumption at the end of the evening be higher than the estimated quote, the balance is due upon the close of the wedding. Unless otherwise specifi ed, this balance will be charged to the credit card on fi le.

• Should the actual bar consumption be lower than the estimated quote (not including the minimum guarantee) a refund cheque will be issued to the client.

• Final billing will include any charges in excess of the confi rmed quote, along with all applicable taxes and service.

Incidentals: • Event service fee: 18% calculated on the pre-tax total of food and beverage consumption or on the minimum guarantee

should it not be met

• DJ: starting fee $600.00 plus HST for four (4) hours

• Audio-visual staff support: fl at fee of $150.00 plus HST for regular set-up (special set-up priced accordingly)

• LCD screen and projector: $150.00-$500.00 plus HST

• Cake cutting and plating fee: $4 per guest plus HST

• Rental of special linen, dishes, fl atware or décor to a client’s specifi cation

• Rental of furniture if required

• Removal of existing furniture or décor to accommodate a client’s own décor/theme

PLEASE NOTE: the above incidentals are not included in the minimum guarantee

Additional Information

Guaranteed Guest Count:

An approximate guest count is required at time of booking a wedding. A fi nal guest count is then required four (4) business days prior to the wedding. The fi nal invoice will be based on this guest count or the greater of. If no fi nal guest count is received, we will consider the last indicated count as the fi nal guaranteed guest count.

Should the fi nal guest count increase prior to the four (4) business days before the event, the estimated quote will be adjusted along with the initial deposit, which will be recalculated and settled accordingly.

Securing Wedding Dates:

In order to secure a wedding date at The Fifth, a deposit is required in the form of the $1500.00 plus HST Pre-Wedding Venue Planning Fee.

PLEASE NOTE: once paid this fee is non-refundable.

Cancellations and Postponements:

Cancellations of up to 30 days prior to the wedding date will receive a 50% deposit refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations of less than 30 days.

Bookings postponed to a later date receive a deposit refund of 80% to be applied to a future booking determined by The Fifth’s availability.
