Bosworth Hall holds a civil wedding license to cover several of our historic banquet

rooms.

Ranging from 2 to 120 guests to ensure that all your family members and friends can attend this amazing day and celebrate this in style.

With the banquet rooms dating back to the 16th century the Hall offers the grandure that

every bride and groom look for. The large original fireplace in the Wolstan Lounge, Secret tunnel from the main hotel leading to the Church across the road are examples of the hotel’s marvellous past.

Alternatively, should you choose a church ceremony, a visit to the church across the road can offer this within walking distance from

the hotel with the wedding celebrations taking place at the hotel.

Whatever the size of your celebration and whichever room you choose, the venue’s experienced team will provide an unrivaled level of service. Children are welcome at Bosworth Hall and special menu options are available upon request.


Wedding Etiquette and Toasts

The Top TableThe Top Table arrangement, facing your guests, should normally read from left to right: Chief Bridesmaid, Groom’s Father, Bride’s Mother, Groom, Bride, Bride’s Father, Groom’s Mother, Best Man.

The Receiving LineThe Receiving Line is courteous, practical and a great way to ensure you see everyone. Normally, when the Bride’s parents have sent out invitations, they can be regarded as the Host and Hostess and should be first in line to receive the guests.

GraceThe Toastmaster may say grace if required after escorting the Bride and Groom to their places at the top table. The Toastmaster will introduce someone selected by the Bride and Groom to say grace if required. Sometimes Grace is not said.

The First ToastThe First Toast is the duty and privilege of the Bride’s father, but where this cannot be the case, a close relative or family friend may give this very special toast to…

The Bride and BridegroomThe Bridegroom responds to this toast on behalf of himself and his Bride. It is also the Bridegroom’s duty to make the second toast to…

Commitment CeremonyA Commitment Ceremony is a meaningful and dignified ceremony for adult couples. Each ceremony is unique and each individual ceremony is conducted with a Celebrant working closely with the couple. The Celebrant who conducts your ceremony will

not be acting in an official capacity and the ceremony has no legal status.

Renewal of Marriage VowsA renewal of vows ceremony may be arranged for any married couple wishing to celebrate their marriage by renewing the vows they made to each other on their wedding day. Bosworth Hall Hotel is as perfect for a Renewal of Vows as it is for a Wedding

‘When wandering around The Guildhall craft fair, we were drawn in by a display of impressively artistic

photography, only to find a very appealing wedding sample book laid out. We liked what we saw and a few

weekslater Richard was sitting in our living room already demonstrating how brilliant he would be. He did pre-visits

of the venues (giving us lots of info we were rather clueless about); took personal care to note the particular kind of photos we wanted and

added his own much appreciated ideas; put time, effort and some delightful surprises into our day well beyond our expectations; and of

course, at the end of it all, promptly provided us with beautiful and highly professional wedding photographs that we will treasure always.

Richard even made a special page on his website so that we could share our much requested photos with all of our friends and family. We
