Our stunning new AURA Spa boasts a wide range of treatments and packages, complete your Aura Spa experience with a visit to our new outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool. We also have a swimming pool, sauna,

steam room and Jacuzzi to relax in and a fun factory to keep your little ones entertained. For the energetic, there’s also a well-equipped gym.

We have 22 bedrooms to comfortably accommodate your wedding party and the Bowfield Suite has an 80 guest capacity for dining and 120 plus for an evening reception.

1. CONFIRMATION a) All bookings will be considered as provisional until the client signs the contract.

Once the contract is signed, both parties will be subject to the terms & conditions of this contract.

b) The contract must be signed at the time of booking otherwise your booking shall remain on a provisional basis.

2. PAYMENT a) A non refundable deposit of £500.00 is required at time of confirmation. A further non refundable deposit of £1500.00 is due 9 months prior to the wedding. The transfer of the deposit to an alternative date is not permitted unless agreed in principle with the Bowfield Hotel.

Should this be agreed a £250.00 administration fee will be applicable.

b) Full payment of your estimated bill is due one calendar month prior to your wedding date. Any subsequent costs must be settled two weeks prior to the wedding date.

c) Interim payments can be made to the hotel from the payment of the deposit until the final account is settled one calendar month prior to the wedding date. All payments must be made directly to the hotel by cash, or credit/debit card. We no longer accept cheques.

d) Once full payment is received no refunds or re-allocation of monies will be permitted.

e) Prices include 20% VAT. Any increase to statutory VAT will be added to your wedding estimate.

f) Packages can be upgraded but not subtracted from the minimum price applicable per person. Upgrades will be charged accordingly.

g) The Wedding Brochure can be altered at the discretion of the management.

The management reserves the right to amend the programme without prior notice being given.

h) These prices are valid from 1st January 2020 – 31st December 2020.

3. FINAL NUMBERS a) Estimated numbers of day guests must be given at the time of booking. Final numbers must be confirmed one calendar month prior to your wedding date. Numbers may increase but not decrease below 10% of that originally estimated at your time of booking. Should the numbers drop below 10% payment must be made for the original estimated numbers.

b) The Bowfield Hotel reserves the right to set minimum numbers in the way of guests attending a wedding/ function or catering for selected menus during these events.

c) Minimum numbers for day guests will vary depending on the package and date chosen i.e. Silver, Gold or Platinum and the day that the wedding takes place.

d) Evening buffet: you must cater for a minimum of 75% of your day & evening guests.

4. AMENDMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS a) In the unfortunate circumstances you have to cancel or postpone your confirmed booking prior to the event, the Bowfield Hotel will retain the confirmation deposit of £500.00 plus the interim £1500 payment.

b) In the event of cancellation, the cancellation charges are as follows. Less than:

• 6 months - 50% • 5 months - 60% • 3 months - 75% • 1 month - 100%

Please note that the Bowfield Hotel will try to minimise loss wherever possible by re-letting the accommodation.

c) Definitive losses can only be confirmed to you after the intended date of your event.

d) Any cancellation, postponement or partial cancellation must be advised verbally to the Bowfield Hotel as soon as possible. The cancellation, postponement or partial cancellation must then be followed up in writing to The Bowfield Hotel.
