From holy Zion, Lord, send down your blessing. True peace be with them and prosperity as in Jerusalem for all their days on earth, then for all time in heav'n's eternity. And may they come to see their children's children, Fulfilment in each other's company, peace be with them and on the house of Israel. In Jesus' name O God, we pray so may it be!

O loving God, we pray you give your blessing, to those who come to marry in your sight, your holy people gathered here around them, to witness love in all its radiance bright. May they be happy as they walk together, your paths to follow, and your name revere, that they may reap the fruits of labour from their hands, and life go well with them; your guiding word to steer.

Within their home, give them the joy of family with children, blessed as fruit upon the vine, like olive branches decked around their table, the union of a perfect love divine. By their example may their children bless your name, As man and wife good parents may they be; for they are blessed who honour and obey the Lord.
