Can people whohave diabetesconsume oodsand beveragescontaining stevia
sweeteners?Yes. Stevia and other low-caloriesweeteners provide sweet-tasting,low-carbohydrate options orpeople with diabetes. Researchshows that consuming steviasweeteners does not increaseblood glucose levels. O course,a product containing steviamay still contain carbohydratesand calories.
