Webmail, a division of Interface, is a focused online media company offering digital advertising and marketing solutions. The business has grown from strength to strength for over 12 years and employs in the
region of 200 people.
We strive to create online and related digital marketing products that provide exposure for clients through leadership brands and advertising
opportunities.
The company has developed a strong and growing client base, from single person businesses through to large listed corporate entities that look

Webmail a FREE email service in South Africa (similar to Gmail and Yahoo mail) focused only in South Africa for local users.
In exchange for our users information (demographic and psychographic) we offer them a free email and sms service in which we have the rights to serve highly targeted offers.
There is also a specially developed ad serving system with various features specific for each company.
These include targeting by categories, gender, area, lifestyle, etc as well as load management and balancing for the targeting requirements and database management of aspects related to this.

In mid 2010, our designers and developers embarked on a project to give Webmail fresh new face.
And from there, the new homepage was born!
We identified the need to give our users a faster, enhanced user experience whilst creating great opportunities and spaces for our advertisers, following international trends.
The new homepage includes an easy-on-the eye layout giving users more content items like the latest news
The redesign and development of the new homepage and mailbox, facilitates a range of new advertising spaces.
We have geared the site for facilitate international standards, as indicated by the International Advertising Bureau (AIB) and general industry standards.
Most adverts allow for rich media (flash) in all advertising spaces and we can facilitate all 3rd party adverts and tracking systems.

Other content includes magazine clips from a local, slightly off-the-wall publisher, a weekly political toon, health related articles and more to follow.
The homepage was preceded by an intense mailbox redevelopment. In conjunction with one another, users are offered a 2 gig mailbox, 10 GB online file storage, access to sending free SMS’s and many other services.

The sleek and sexy page peel (peel back) is just waiting to be peeled off!
It is located in the top, right hand corner and is using flash scripting to show and hide the advertisers creatives.
The is also an exellent branding opportunity and will add value to any brand.

From small tabs, more focussed on the small and medium enterprise, to larger spaces suitable for branding and sales driven campaigns.
All the adverts on the front page are flighted a minimum of 50 000 times per month.
With the site sitting as one the top most visited site in the country, this front page is indeed prime inventory.
When you consider how many times you check your email a day and how many people are coming to the site on a regular basis its absolutely astonishing.
To put this into perspective, imagine a billboard on the side of the road seen by this many people all the time, where they have to take notice of the ad and aren’t preoccupied driving.
The ad is seen by them in a relaxed environment.
