Corrosion protection is in the packaging. Zerust VCI plastic protects metal parts against corrosion for many years by creating an inhibiting atmosphere inside the rapping. VCI plastics are widely used in the auto industry. The plastic film can be supplied in many forms and shapes i.e. bags, sheets, shrink rapping, pallet covers and as stretch film.

VCI PACKING

VCI capsules create a corrosion-inhibiting atmosphere when installed in electrical cabinets, switch boxes, transmitters and boxes in general.

Zerust is the largest producer of VCI in the world. In our portfolio, we have capsules that protect from 4 litres to 24m3 for up to 2 years. We also supply flash vapour capsules that protect much faster than any other VCI.

VCI chemicals work by creating a corrosion-inhibiting atmosphere that prevents water to react with metal to create rust.

The active substances we use in our VCI packing and vapor capsules are also used as additives in our program of oils, grease, coating, powder and hydrotest inhibitor products.

Silica gel crystals absorb the humidity from the air inside the sealed packaging to stop the water vapor corrosion. The silica gel crystals can absorb as much as 40% of its own weight.

We stock Silica Gel in bags from 3 grams to 2500 grams. Readily available is also self-indicating gel, alumina and container desiccants with practical

DESICCANTSmounting brackets. We deliver barrier foil, welding equipment and produce tailor made foil bags at your request.

Silica gel is also the active component in breathing filters for transformers and tanks from Air Sentry Breathers prohibit water vapor to seep in through air spaces.

Our proprietary Rapid Soft Cover are tailor made for ANSI, API and CF flanges. Rapid Soft Covers have a hard outside of plastic and a soft rubber inside liner and combine shock and dust protection with reuse. Assembly and disassembly are done in seconds using the FXP-fixing bolts.

We manufacture flange protectors in plywood, POM or PE. We also stock a large variety of plastic and rubber protectors for pipe and flange protection:
