Auction Update - Nicole & Sarika – Gross of $47k for Winter Marketplace, Gala set for 5/15 – Working with Hyatt re: Covid Rules in place, Next big focus on procurement, Art – More to come, RTP – “Going Gaga” to fund PTSA budget– If we hit goal, we will get a Gaga Pit, Newcastle Life Magazine helpful – businesses want to advertise, Questions re: parties – Recommendation to have dates set to have parties

d. Nominating Committee – President, Secretary, & Ways & Means needed, Christine McClure – KinderConnect next year, It was recommended to reach out to 1st/2nd grade teachers to get parent recommendations
e. January General Membership Meeting – Nothing to vote on unless we have nominating committee, Discussion on Boundary Committee – Allison, Marcia, Peter, Christine & Mary – Working on spearheading proposal for the committee
f. Feb/Mar/April calendar - Plans? Ideas? – Sam & Randi working on Art Docent revamp – To be released in February with at-home instruction, Lunch for the Break – Power packs focus now, Marcia discussed doing something in March – waiting on more detailed info from Issaquah Food Bank, Bisa & Albert working with Jon for March/April Science Fair, GeoBee will be cancelled to due to signups reduced by 75%, Marcia asked to help get science books to those who may need them
g. Potential Fundraiser with Thunderbirds Baseball – Recommended against going with one when there is another group we would take away from
4. Treasurer Report – Mei & Ali – No new updates – Note on budget re: GeoBee endowment to extend one addt’l year
5. Dr. Wood Update – Forward moving conversations taking place re: bargaining – Hope to have more info later this week in response to governor’s changes, Bargaining taking place again tomorrow, For Newcastle, looking at about 60% In-person/40% Remote – This does not include who wants to follow teacher
