Tutoring Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday Study Hall are available. Please make appointment with teacher for after school tutorial.

Texts to be used:The Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology (eighth edition)- Elaine N Marieb

Classroom Rules:1. All State and school rules and Dress Code Policy will be enforced.2. No writing on furniture or you will be responsible for cleaning your “artwork”.3. No chewing gum, eating or drinking in class during instructional time. Drinking water is

acceptable.4. No calling, texting, or watching videos allowed on cellular phones in class. If used for

academic purposes, please ask permission from teacher first.5. No standing at the doorway to wait for the bell to ring. You must remain seated until the

teacher dismisses the class. 6. Always get permission to leave classroom. Bathroom use should be during non-

instructional time: breaks, recess, lunch time and not right at the beginning of class, or end of class period

Classroom Procedures

1. Tardies: If you are tardy for class please do not distract the class, enter as quietly as possible and sign into the binder marked with “Tardies” near the door and take your seat.

2. Absences: If you are absent, you are responsible for checking to see what material you missed. Most assignments will be posted on class website so you may check there for any work you may need. For every day absent you have one day to make up work (i.e. if you are absent for two days, work must be turned in within two days after your return).

3. You are adults and as such do not need to ask permission to use the restroom or get water. However, students are responsible for signing in/out on the clipboard located near the door. Only one student is permitted to leave at a time and if this privilege is abused it may be revoked.

4. Students are expected to follow ALL lab safety requirements. Failure to do so will result in the student being excused from the lab and loss of points for that lab.

Late Policy:

1. Students will be given three late work coupons. You may use your coupon to turn in work one day late. Any unused coupons will be converted to extra credit points at the end of each semester.
