This task is open to staff and students! You could make 1 piece of art for 1 theme or you could make 3 pieces, one for each theme. Each piece should be completed on A4 paper. You could also use photography, or baked, build or sculpt something and photograph it. There are lots of options. FIRST – Remember there is no right or wrong way to create! Everybody can express themselves creatively, we all have our own ideas, thoughts, feelings, strengths and weaknesses. Each piece of art is as unique as the person who created it. NEXT – Think about what you have experienced since ‘lockdown’ was announced. This can be anything, including thoughts, feelings, changes to the way you live your life, learning new things, staying at home, being a part of your local community, upcycling, baking, helping others, playing games, getting fit, helping neighbours, looking after animals, wearing a face mask, watching TV, feeling worried, getting angry, sun bathing or jumping in puddles etc. THEN – Look at each of the 3 themes, how could you create a piece of artwork inspired by these themes? Drawing, painting, collage, photography, using the computer, origami, text, baking, making, abstract, representational, photography etc. What might you use to make it? Pencil crayons, felt tips, chalk, paint, magazines, camera, stencil, coffee, a mobile app, paper, pens, items from your recycling bin, water, food or food wrapper, tablet or PC, pastels, glue, relief, newspaper images or headlines, creative writting etc. FINALLY – Use an A4 piece of paper (landscape or portrait) and create a piece or pieces of art inspired by the themes. Make sure to write your name and chosen theme on the back. Then hand it in and it will become a part of a group mural for our communities. Most importantly have fun!

· Drawing, painting, collage, photography, using the computer, origami, text, baking, making, abstract, representational, photography etc.

What might you use to make it?

· Pencil crayons, felt tips, chalk, paint, magazines, camera, stencil, coffee, a mobile app, paper, pens, items from your recycling bin, water, food or food wrapper, tablet or PC, pastels, glue, relief, newspaper images or headlines, creative writting etc.

FINALLY – Use an A4 piece of paper (landscape or portrait) and create a piece or pieces of art inspired by the themes. Make sure to write your name and chosen theme on the back. Then hand it in and it will become a part of a group mural for our communities. Most importantly have fun!
